TBR: The Chestnut Man - From the cover: A psychopath is terrorizing Copenhagen. His calling card is a "chestnut man" - a handmade doll composed of matchsticks and two chestnuts - which he leaves at each bloody crime scene. Examining the dolls, forensics makes a shocking discovery - a fingerprint belonging to a young girl, a government minister's daughter who had been kidnapped and murdered a year ago. A tragic coincidence - or something more twisted? To save innocent lives, a pair of detectives must put aside their differences to piece together the Chestnut Man's gruesome clues. Because it's clear that the madman is on a mission that is far from over.

And no one is safe.

This book has me so freaked out that I sometimes have to put it down and walk out of the room.

Do: Rest, and no, it's not still snowing here, but now that summer has finally arrived, I don't want to go outside anymore. I just don't deal with heat well. Also, I was in Orlando at a conference last week and never adapted to the time change well enough to be able to get sleep. Lack of sleep paired with long days of meetings and conference sessions as well as having to take three flights to get home due to flight delays has left me drained. I hope I’ll be able to sleep in and putter around the house.

Watch: Jo with Jean Reno
